VaDraft is a native Windows and macOS drafting application for pleadings, letters, reports, and agreements. Use it independently or alongside VaFL Toolkit.

Document-first

Draft with structure, revise with control.

Structured elements

Edit captions, numbered paragraphs, signature blocks, and certificates of service as document elements. Keep a .vad working copy for later revisions.

Useful formats

Import Word documents for structured review. Export DOCX and PDF for further editing, sharing, and filing after counsel’s review.

Optional Assist

Use a supported local model or a configured cloud service. Review suggestions before applying them; cloud requests can transmit selected content.

Working together

Toolkit keeps the matter. VaDraft develops the document.

Open reviewed litigation packages and inspect source context and provenance. Toolkit matter packages are generally read-only in VaDraft. Returning a reviewed draft creates a separate review-inbox handoff that requires acceptance in Toolkit.

Trial workbooks are a specific exception: both apps can edit and exchange workbook answers, with revision checks and conflict review. Changes to other matter fields remain controlled by Toolkit.

VaDraft is free. A Toolkit subscription is needed for paid Toolkit features, not for standalone VaDraft drafting.
